Unit7 we are soldiers

The first period

教学目标:

认知目标:1、能听懂会说单词: leftrightturnsoldierspolicementraffic police

2、能理解并认读句型: What are we? Are you...? 3、能正确表述职业类单词和能用本课单词与句型参与并组游戏

能力目标:1、能运用正确的语言有礼貌地询问职业。

2、在各项任务、活动中,提高学生听、说、读、做、唱的能力以及合作能力。

3、在创设的真实情景中,培养学生的英语口头表达能力和实际运用能力。

情感目标:1、在活动中培养孩子们的合作精神、竞争意识以及集体荣誉感。 2、多以鼓励性的评价,增强学生的自信心,培养学生积极学习态度和持久的学习兴趣,以及乐于用英语和他人交际,善于与他人沟通的良好品质。

教材重点与难点:

教学重点:能听懂会说单词及句型。

教学难点:能拓展运用句型“ What are we? Are you...?”参与游戏并交流。

教学对象分析:

学生通过三年级英语学习英语有一定认识,乐于参加英语活动,并在活动中有一定的合作意识和集体荣誉感。

教学策略及教法设计

采用情境教学法、TPR教学法、任务型教学法等,在各种活动中充分调动学生的参与意识,通过任务加活动的形式让学生掌握单词和句型。

教学用具:cards pictuers stickes 教学过程: Step 1 Warming-up



1 Greetings.

2 T explains the rules of the competition and encourages Ss. T:Look,what'sthis?(T catches an eraser in the hand)

T: Right.Nowlook,it's in one of my hands.Guess,left or right? (Ask two boys and two girls to guess. The winner can get a ball.)

Step 2 Prensentation and practice


1 Learn to say new words and phrases: left right turn left turn right.

1) Help ss to read the words with actions. 2) Listien and do.

2 Learn to say: soldiers

1) Do the action as soldier with some students,and ask: Are you drivers/teachers?

2) Write the word on the Bb and teach the word “soldiers”. 3) Get the Ss to read “soldiers” with action, and ask; Are you soldiers?

Write the sentence pattern and read it.Then learn to say “policemen traffic police.Are you ...? No,we aren't. in the same way.”

3 Review some other words about jobs. 4 A guessing game

T gives a picture to each group.Get Ss to guess:Group 1.Are you doctors/teachers/soldiers...?

5 learn to say :What are we?

1) Get some Ss to play the game,present the new sentence: What are we?

2) Write it on the Bb and teach Ss to read. 3) Read the whole handwriting together. 6 Dialogue study.

1) Listen to the tape,answer the questions:

What words can you hear? What sentences can you hear? 2) Follow the tape.

3) Read the dialogue together.

Step 3 Consolidation

1 Act and guess.

Each group choose one word as drivers/teachers and act.

The others guess what they are according to their action and sentences.

2 Count the balls of each team.

Yes,we are soldiers.

No,we aren't.
