一、课程的任务和基本要求： 任务：

本课程是英语专业本科基础阶段的必修课，也是一门提高学生运用语言能力的重要课程。本课程从一年级起分四个学期讲授，主要目的在于训练学生的英语口语表达能力。其重点在于通过一系列行之有效的口语训练，要求学生达到能利用已掌握的英语、比较清楚地表达自己的思想。



基本要求：

1）能利用已掌握的英语比较清楚地表达自己的思想，在遇到想不起的单词或没有掌握的结构时能尝试着运用交际策略绕过难点达到交际目的；

2）基本能正确掌握诸如询问、请求、建议、忠告等交际功能。在不同的场合，对不同的人用比较恰当、得体的语言形式去体现不同的交际目的；

3）树立主动讲英语的信心，培养讲英语的热情和兴趣； 4）逐步达到准确与流利的结合。

基本内容:

10 How to Give Instructions and How to Talk about Similarities and Differences 11 How to Talk about Past Events and How to Ask for a Description 12 How to Describe things and How to Describe Places

13 How to talk about the Future and How to Talk about Possibilities 14 How to Describe People and How to Clarifications

15 How to Ask Personal Questions and How to Talk about Personal Interests 16 How to Express Your Opinions and How to Make Farewells

基本要求：

能用英语正确表达所学功能，并经过准备，能简单而连贯地复述所听到的或读过的语段；能就日常生活的话题进行初步的交际；基本做到正确表达思想、语音、语调比较自然，无重大语法错误，语言基本得体。

基本要求:

能就所学日常生活话题进行交谈；做到正确表达思想、语音、语调自然，无重大语法错误，语言基本得体；能就所听到的语段进行复述和简单讨论；

本课程每周2课时，每学期共34课时。 每周学时分配情况大致如下：

-lecture and controlled practice 1课时 -pair work and group work 0.5课时 -class discussion based on the given topic and setting 0.5课时

1、教学和考核方式：本课程属考查课，考核方式为一对一口试。 2、能力培养要求：能在一般社交场合与英语国家人士交谈，做到正确表达思想，语音、语调自然，无重大语法错误，语言基本得体。
