本课为人教版五年级上第四单元第一次对话课的学习,本单元的主题是 “What can you do ?”本部分的核心句型是:What can you do for the party? I can sing English songs.教材通过Miss White和张鹏以及John的对话,使学生感知本课核心句型的语义及语用情景。与此同时,让学生了解“We’ll”表示将来以及和 “next Tuesday”的联系。
五年级的学生在学习了四年英语的基础上,对于句型的掌握更加容易。对于本课的话题,学生们能够做到有话要说,有话可说。对于英语的学习,同学们仍然保持良好的学习兴趣。

学生学习活动Learning Activities 要求学生注意力集中,做好上课准备,进行必要分组,告知孩子们本节课的活动目标。
1.导入已学相关动词词组,通过教师的输入让学生感知句型:What can you do ?
策略与设计意图Strategies/Purpose 创设活跃的课堂氛围,第一次引入:I can … .
1.Let’s sing an English song “Hello!” 2. Divide the groups : I can get the flag. I.Warm-up&Revision
1. Lead-In: According to the game, the teacher
can introduce some actions.
T:Look at this. Let’s play a game “Yes or No”. You can answer “Yes” or “No”. Ok ? I can dance.(actions) Can you dance?
Ss: Yes.
The students can read after the words.
Use the same way to introduce another words: do some kungfu, swim, draw pictures…. 1.复习已学动词词组,通过教师的句型输入,让学生感知重点句型。

read.Revise these phrases. (Clap your hands) T: Let’s read these phrases and clap your hands. OK?

3 The teacher give students the question and ask students to answer it. . Teacher –led first T:What can you do ? Ss:I can…
4 Design the scene and ask students to answer
it.
T: We’ll have an English party next Tuesday. W hat can you do for the party?
Lead the students to say: “I can … .”
Ask students to read and understand two words “party” “Tuesday”.
5 Ask students to find the answer “ What can
Mike do for the party?” He can draw pictures.
6 Look at the video and then answer the
questions:
Q1:What can Zhangpeng do for the party? Q2:What can John do for the party?
7 Ask students to look at the video and then read
after the video. Pay attention to the pronunciation and tone. 2.学生操练词组,力求熟练,为之后的句型学习做铺垫。
3通过再次出示单词进行句型的第一次操练。学生可以准确表达我能做什么。
4 设计情景,引入“party”一词,强调“Tuesday”.学生能够准确朗读单词。引导学生用之前的熟练的动词词组说:我能为聚会做些什么?
5告知学生,Mike 也来参加聚会,让学生找出他能做些什么。完成“Let’s try!部分。
6.看视频,回答两个问题。即全篇的重点句型。
7.学生先看对话视频,后跟读,出示重点句型。注意语音语调。了解对话含义。 2.进一步熟悉词组,要求学生熟练掌握,为接下来的句型学习做铺垫。
3复习单词,重点句型的输入。学生准确熟练的表达。
4设计情景,让学生们畅所欲言,将之前复习的词组熟练运用在句型:I can … .中。让学生体会“我能够为聚会做些什么事情。”内涵。
5通过Mike 的活动,再次强调“他能为聚会做些什么?”
6.本次听力训练是带着问题听,因为之前的重点句型已出示在黑板上,故对此项活动,学生应该可以轻松应答。
7.出示视频,通过视频了解本课对话的基本内涵,学生跟读,重视语音语调的训练。
