Unit 6 Weather

教学目标：

1.能听懂、会说：How is the weather today? It’s a sunny day. How is the weather in Beijing? It’s sunny. 并能在实际情景中应用。要求语音准确、语调自然。

2.学习新单词：weather, sunny, cloudy, rainy, snowy。培养学生听说读的基本能力。 3.通过介绍英国人见面交谈时，喜欢谈论天气，激发学生的学习兴趣。 教具准备： CD-ROM，单词卡片。 教学过程： StepⅠ. Warming-up 1.Greeting. 2.Duty report.

3.Say a rhyme.——tick tock我们要怎么用英语谈论天气呢？ StepⅡPresentation 1.导入情境。

T：2008年，我们将迎来北京奥运会，到时候会有很多外国的朋友到我们的国家，外国人见面交谈时，喜欢谈论天气，“How is the weather today?” 教学单词：weather 句型“How is the weather today?”

2.展示课题 “Unit 6 Weather Lesson 11”。 3.屏幕出示中国地图，师扮导游，学生扮外国的朋友。 T: Hello, Amy ! Where are you going ?

S1: I’m going to Beijing . How is the weather today? T: （点击北京跳出天气图标 ）It’s sunny. 卡片出示新单词，教学新单词sunny Sunny ↗, sunny↘, it’s sunny

不同的城市出示不同的天气图标，教学不同的新单词cloudy， rainy， snowy 4.练习

教师出示天气图片，让学生根据今天的新句型来描述。

5.小组活动：“天气预报播音员”完成各城市天气的表格，使用句型How is the weather in …? It’s sunny /cloudy/ rainy/ snow.进行问答练习。 6.介绍另一种天气表示法：It’s a rainy day. 7.收看CD-ROM学习课文，模拟表演 Step Ⅲ：Sing and chant

1.学说童谣 Rain on the sunflower. 2.学唱歌曲 Rain, Rain, Go Away. Step Ⅳ：Consolidation and extension

1.事先将表示天气的图片贴在教室的墙壁上，让学生根据教师的指令指出所表示的图片，检查学生新单词的掌握情况。

2.游戏：记忆力大比拼。根据中国地图的标示。 Step Ⅴ：Homework 1.为家长表演童谣和歌曲。 2.完成《活动手册》上本课的练习。
