Thanks for reading this letter. I am a middle school student. I want to tell you something serious. In our school many students like playing computer games. I think it is bad for their study and lives because some of them can’t pay attention to what their teachers say in class or don’t do their homework carefully. As a result, they can’t good grades in tests. Even a few students start stealing money from others in order to pay for the games. It is bad for the families and the whole society.

2. On May 12th 2008, a super earthquake happened in Wencuan, Sichuan province. A large number of buildings were destroyed and thousands of people lost their lives in this disaster. Luckily, the army and people from all over the world care about the poor people and help them immediately. Many doctors and nurses went there to treat the wounded.

As students, we can’t go to the disaster area to help them, but we can do something necessary for them. The people in Sichuan need money, clothes, food, clean water, tents and so on. So we can donate these to them. We can also offer our blood to the wounded.

The disaster is healthless, but people from all over China are warm-hearted. Chinese can beat any disaster because we are united.
