Teaching aims & learning objectives 教学目标 By the end of the lesson, the students should be able to: 1. understand the text as a whole;理解整个故事

2. learn some reading strategies, such as looking at the pictures carefully and guessing the meaning of new words etc.;学习一些阅读策略,例如看图猜测生词意思等。 3.improve critical thinking skills by imagining their wishes;想想自己的愿望 4. know to be brave and helpful in daily life.在生活中做一勇敢有用的人。 Focus of the lesson and predicted area of difficulty 教学重点和难点 Focus of the lesson:

1. understand the text as a whole 理解整个故事。

2. learn some reading strategies, such as looking at the pictures carefully and guessing the meaning of new words etc.;学习一些阅读策略,例如看图猜测生词意思等。 Predicted area of difficulty:

1. improve critical thinking skills by imagining their wishes;想想自己的愿望 Teaching procedures教学过程 Step1 Pre-reading

1. Enjoy a song .

It tells us we should be brave .

设计意图:通过歌曲来热身,从而活跃课堂气氛,同时引出今天学习的主题词brave 2. Let’s play a game.

Game rules: 老师朗读句子,如果你的情况和老师一样,就站起来大声读这个句; 如果和老师说的不一样就坐着不动。

游戏中复习brave,学习helpful. 最后一句I like reading 结束,导入今天的话题,一起来读这本书Little Mouse Honey Step2 While-reading

1. Read the cover,读封面。介绍一个学习小提示:阅读绘本时仔细看图, 图片中蕴含着丰富的信息哦!

1)Q:What can you see?学生回答 I can see a little mouse .教师引导回答并

教授生词watering the bud. 同时板书词组water the bud


2)小老鼠用声音跟大家打招呼,介绍课本的第5页。老师让学生看图猜测生词childrenyoungest的含义。这不是重点,教师一带而过即可。

2.Skim and choose 快速阅读找到文章大意

学习小提示Tip: Skimming,略读是一种常见的阅读方法之一,就是粗略的读,了解文章的大致内容。

翻开这本书的封面,快速浏览图片文字,一起来欣赏这个故事吧。 The story is about Honey's wish.

3. Read and find

What’s his wish?小老鼠的愿望是什么呢?介绍阅读方法扫描读:读课本第6页,找出答案

4. 接着教师以旁白的方式介绍故事发生的背景教师让学生借助图片来直观理slip from,run through the field quickly.

5. Listen and find : What happened? Who? Where?What? The result?

学生听绘本的89页故事,回答这几个要素。教师指导朗读一些不会的生词。 要板书这些要素,例如图片文字

6. Read and find 四人一小组合作读第1013页,圈出关键词,完成表格 学生汇报时,教师指导朗读一直重复出现的Let me join you,I can do it.Stay away from the...教师指导朗读一些不会的生词。同时也要板书这些要素,图片文字 7. Try to act 两到人一组,选一副你喜欢的场景来演一演。

8. 演完之后问学生,你能体会Honey 现在的感受吗?听Honey的独白并模仿朗读。

9. 教师接着问;他会放弃吗?How does mother help him?

播放声音,呈现绘本第1417页。学习理解take careful of..grow up 10. Read and say: How does Honey take care of the bud?自读绘本第1821页,圈出关键字。鼓励学生回答的时候边加动作边读。Water the bud,drive a pest away.板书文字图片

11.Listen and answer 听绘本第2021 Does Honey wish come true?

学习bloomed,proud. 黑板上贴花开的图片


Step3 Post-reading

1. Try to retell the story from Page14-21,根据板书来复述 2. I think Honey is a ...mouse.开放式答案,让学生说一说。 3. Do you have a wish? 4. 情感渗透 Homework 家庭作业

1. Read this story again. 2. Enjoy some other stories.
