My University, My Dream



“Life is like a box of chocolate, you never know what you are going to get.” After my graduation from high school, I gradually understand this sentence.



Black Chocolate

I’ve never expected that I would come to such a university full of cultural power. Like the original old black chocolate, she was the second oldest university all over China. Many friends of mine even concerned that she is too old to give me something new. However, now I’m sure I love her. I love the smell of hope, I love the joy of energy and I love the sound of sunshine. I love her for her accumulation of history. It is her deep culture that attracts me to enrich myself day by day. I love her for her excellent combination of the old and the new. I must perfect my personality to response her appeal.

I hope one day I would stand in my position returning her generous giving and devoting for my country.

Milk Chocolate

Then I found a piece of milk chocolate called the Association of Love (AOL). I think this is my second collective in my university except my class. Milk chocolate always gives me a sweet taste. So does the AOL. I stood on the street propagating for the CHINA DOLLS. I seat in my chair learning sign language. I heard of others staying in the nursing home cleaning rooms for the old. I know I’ve learnt a lot from the big family such as unite, devotion, responsibility, cooperation and so on.

I hope one day the world would be full of love and joy. I hope one day there would be less tears in the lovely faces. I hope one day people would enjoy the feeling of warmth. And I want to be such a volunteer to help more people.

Peppermint Chocolate

Peppermint chocolate is so cool that it always makes me keep a clear mind. I have many good teachers in university just like peppermint chocolates. They teach me not only the knowledge but also the principles to be a good person. One of my teachers told me that you should get busy living instead of getting busy dying. I know today is the first day in the rest of my life. I must make the most of my living time and watch out for losing myself.

I hope one day I would become such a peppermint chocolate.

Hazel Chocolate

Hazel chocolate is my favorite for it gives me a relaxing feeling while chewing it. So it often reminds me of my family. I left home, I left my mom behind and I have been missing her. I know she is expecting my bright future. I know I must lead a life without her help and learn to be more


independent.

I hope one day I would live a better life with her and protect her from being hurt.

White Chocolate

When it comes to white chocolates, I think of the pure friendship, the taste of which is sweet and dense. I’ve made some good friends here. We laugh together. We struggle together. We share the same sunshine and walk in the same wind. They are my roommates and they are the kind of persons I want to grow up with. They give me another home. They teach me a lot of lessons and share happiness and sorrow with me.

I hope we would be best friends forever and I hope we would have our bright futures.

I often went to the shore to fly a kite when I was a little girl. I thought the kite would take my blessing away and bring my dreams back. Now, I must hold on my kite and the dreams it brought back. I don’t know what kind of chocolates I’ll get the next time, but I know I must be brave to face

more challenges. I must be strong and carry on!
