1. My way to school

Hello, I’m Helen. I am a student at Rainbow Primary School. I live far way from my school. I live on Green Road. I go to school by car.

I leave home at about seven fifteen. On my way to school, I can see a lot of cars. They go very fast. I also can see many people walk quickly on the road.. Then I arrive at school at about half past seven. This is my way to school .

2. My friend

I have a good friend. Her name is Judy. She’s a very smart girl. She is eleven years old. She’s tall and thin. She is pretty.

Judy likes playing the piano. And she’s good at playing it. She likes playing volleyball, too. She can play it very well. We often play ballgames after school.

Judy wants to be an English teacher in the future. So do I. We like each other very much. We are good friends.

3. My home

Hi, I am Helen. My home is small but it’s nice.

There are two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen in it. The

living room is big. It faces north. The bathroom is not very big. It faces east. the kitchen is small and it faces north. My bedroom faces north too. But my parents’ faces east.

I like my bedroom best. There’s a bookshelf in it. On the bookshelf, there are a lot of books. I like reading my books at the desk. This is my home, it’s warmest place of the world.

4. My favourite Chinese Festival

There are many traditional festivals in China. Someone like the Double Ninth Festival, someone like the Mid- autumn Festival. But my favourite festival is the Spring Festival.

The Spring Festival is a traditional festival in China. It usually comes in January.

On these days, people usually eat traditional food. And have a big dinner




together. After dinner, people always watch fireworks. They’re very beautiful.

It’s also a happy festival for me, because my parents give me the luck money in a red envelopes.

I like the Spring Festival very much. What about you?

You have some good habits.

You can do some exercise in the morning. And you also can eat fruit and vegetables.

6. How to make tea

My mum and I both like drinking tea. It tastes great. Today I want to make tea for my mum. Do you want to know how to make it? First, we must boil the water.

7. What’ the weather like

It is a sunny and windy day. The wind blows gently.

I can hear the leaves singing songs in the wind freely. The flowers dance in the wind softly. Water smiles in the wind sweetly.

We can ride bicycles and fly kites in the wind happily. We like running in the sunshine.
