Good evening ladies and gentlemen.I`m very gland to be here for this competition.

First I`d like to introduce myself.My name is xxx and my English name is Christina.You can call "Tina" for short.My hometown is xxx ,which is quite a beautiful and wealth city.I have been acquiring medical professional knowledge here,major in medical imaging.

Just like my father,I`m open-minded,quick in thought and very fond of government policy.frequently I`exchange ideas with my family during supers.

I`m positive to take part in a lot of activities and join the Arts department in our school students union.

Moreover,I prefer to traveling so that I would learn more about our wonderful world and broad my horizon.

I eager to be a well-qualified person to the effect that I can make friend with others.

Currently ,I`m a freshwoman in our college ,with innocence and misunderstanding.I hold the point that the university for five years is my thinking, the knowledge structure and psychological growth ,maturity five years.

Someone said ,if you are not moving ahead you are falling behind. So further study is still urgent for me to realize self-value and be leisure in today`s competitive world . On the way ,I may fail ,but that will not always be the case .Failure teaches success.

In addition ,I am used to arrange my everyday`s plans to get to the degree that never put off till tomorrow what can be done today. Time is money,life and everything.

Today I stand here,hoping to make the acquaintance of you all and give a chance to improve myself .

Good evening ladies and gentlemen.I`m very glad to be here for this competition. Today I speak from this podium ['pəudiəm] about the topic "MY UNIVERSITY AND I" First I`d like to introduce myself. My name is sun xianjiao and my English name is Christina.You can call "Tina" for short.

I have been in university for almost one year. During my stay here ,I came to realize that university life is like drinking coke[kəuk] . We experience all tastes[teist] of life here, sour [sauə] , sweet, bitter [ˈbitə] and hot. I am from Jiangyin ,which is quite a beautiful and wealth city. While my hometown is too far away from here. I often miss my families, friends, and relatives . So loneliness always keeps me company. Furthermore, I couldn`t adapted myself quickly to the new climate here and I often get flu with fever, aches [eik] , pains and exhaustion.[ig'zɔ:stʃən]

Lucky for me,life in university is rich and colorful. With more free time, I can do many more things besides study. I`m positive to take part in a lot of activities and join the Arts department in our school students union. From there I learn how to organize activities, exchange ideas with teachers and convince classmates of my enthusiasm [in'θju:ziæzəm;in'θju:ziˌæzəm] for jobs. The university is a society miniature['miniətʃə] , what we learn here will benefit our future life.

Though having much free time,I never forget to work hard. Someone said:If you`re not moving ahead, you are falling behind.So further study is still urgent for me to realize self-value and be leisure in today`s competitive world . Life is a box of chocolate, I never know what I will get. It is a world where opportunities have never been greater for those who know how to achieve success. Forrest ['for-əst]Gump [gʌmp] made no decision by and for himself but he accomplished great success with his strong will in the process. The process is not the road itself but the attitudes and feelings ,the caution, courage and persistance I have as I encounter new experience and unexpected obstacles[ˈɔbstəkl].On the way ,I may fail ,but that will not always be the case .Failure teaches success.I hold the point that the university for five years is my thinking, the knowledge structure and psychological growth ,maturity [məˈtjuəriti] five years.No matter who I am, what I do,and where I go,in my mind,there is always a scene to remember ,a scene worth my effect to protect it and fight for it. That is my dream .
