比赛稿一：

Hello everyone, my name is Shiya. I've always been asked about what my dream is, what I wanna do when I grow up. Well, my answer was always different. Sometimes I wanna be a teacher, sometimes I would say a doctor, I don't know. But I do know that there are some little things that we can do everyday to make a better world.

I have a dream that everybody could be kind to everybody around us. I was deeply impressed by the story of Helen Keller, especially Helens teacher Miss Sullivan. It was her kindness that touched the 6-year old Helen who lost both hearing and vision, and encouraged Helen to start reading and learning using hands. It was her kindness that in some way made the world a great author,lecturer and activist.Kindness is wonder.A simple act of kindness can bring feelings of happiness and confidence, can encourage others,improve relationships, and so on. So, be kind,not just to your friends, but to everybody around you. Sometimes a smile is powerful enough to heal a broken heart.

Henry James, an American writer, once said"three things in human life are important:the first is to be kind, the second is to be kind,the third is to be kind." So I have a dream that everybody could be kind to everybody around us.Do you think we can make a difference?I do! Thank you.

比赛稿二：

Hello! My name is Elsa Cao. Today I want to tell you about my dream. My dream is to become a famous pianist, and perform in top concert halls around the globe.

Ever since I was little, I have loved music. One reason is because my family enjoys music. And I grew up in a home where music was often heard and

appreciated. But the thing that really inspired me was a concert performed by a famous Croatian pianist named Maksim Mrvica.He was trained as a classical music mixed with pop. When I heard him,I was awestruck.

Maksim Mrvica performs in many countries. He plays everything from Beethoven to Chopin. But the piece I was most impressed with is Flight of the Bumblebee by the Russian composer,Rimsky-Korsakov. Maksim plays it in his own style with great passion. It's totally amazing.

Of course,Maksim Mrvica is only one of those great pianists. There are so many other wonderful musicians, like Lang Marica and Wang Yujia. They are all my idols. They give me tremendous inspiration.

I have been taking piano lessons for quite some time, but I have a long way to go to be able to play really well. Still, my dream is to become a great pianist just like my idols. It will take years of hard work but I believe l will succeed. Let the challenge begin!
