A：哈哈，不知道了吧，听好了，The quick brown fox jumps over a lazy dog." uses every letter of the alphabet! 这只敏捷的棕色狐狸跳过了一只懒狗，这句话用到了字母表中的所有字母！

A：接下来，我要给同学们介绍另外一个令人受益终身的名言You cannot improve your past, but you can improve your future. Once time is wasted, life is wasted.

B：他的意思是. 你不能改变你的过去，但你可以让你的未来变得更美好。一旦时间浪费了，生命就浪费了 A：哦，我明白了


B：现在有的人总是下午茶称为High Tea，听起来怪怪的。 A：说起来，这里还有一点小故事呢

B：在英文里面，真正的High Tea是指英国的乡间的农夫、木匠，干完活后腰酸背痛，加上英国的夏天日长夜短，到了下午5、6点，太阳还是相当猛烈。他们要回家吃一些轻便的晚餐，喝杯啤酒、吃点面包是最好的选择，这一种就叫做High Tea。因为他们是在厨房吃饭，厨房的桌子特别的高,就为High,在英国要喝到货真价实的下午茶，不是叫High Tea ，而是叫Afternoon Tea，他们的桌子一点也不高，只不过是品尝下午茶的人身份比较高贵。 A：下午茶的起源是来自于十八世纪的英国皇室，有一位女伯爵叫做安娜，每天都要排期参加宴会，通常皇宫的宴会都要八、九点才开始，下午肚子就开始饿了，于是忍不住就叫厨房冲了一壶茶，拿几块饼干来填饱肚子，吃着吃着就上瘾了，于是又叫了些蛋糕、面包、三文治、糕点等等，慢慢下午茶便成了宫廷的一种时尚，还吸引了一帮贵妇聚在一起，叽叽喳喳，道人是非，这个就是下午茶的由来了。

B：大家明白了吗，接下来，我们给大家讲一个小故事

A：A MISER sold all that he had and bought a lump of gold, which he buried in a

hole in the ground by the side of an old wall and went to look at daily. One of his workmen observed his frequent visits to the spot and decided to watch his movements. He soon discovered the secret of the hidden treasure, and digging down, came to the lump of gold, and stole it. The Miser, on his next visit, found the hole empty and began to tear his hair and to make loud lamentations. A neighbor, seeing him overcome with grief and learning the cause, said, "Pray do not grieve so; but go and take a stone, and place it in the hole, and fancy that the gold is still lying
