W: No, I think I understand them very well and I think they have to understand that we all n eed to be more sen sitive to others. That in cludes young people talk ing to us in a way that shows respect for people, and that they realize that older people need to be spoken to in a different way from the way they speak to their friends. Also, why should they think it ' s acceptable to wear torn, dirty clothes when those around them are doing their best to look clean and tidy, probably with far less money?

W: No, no, of course not. I believe that generations should respect each other and that includes tolerating differences. I don ' t expect my children to dress like me or
