Unit 3 weather 第五课时

教学目标:

1. 能够听、说、认读5个描述天气的单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy; 并能够在语境中正确运用这5个单词描述天气状况。

2. 能够在语境中理解world, Sydney, London, Moscow, Singapore的意思,并能正确发音。 3. 能熟练询问或描述天气情况如: Whats the weather like in Sydney? Its hot and sunny. Today its hot and sunny in Sydney. 学情分析:

进入四年级下学期,学生已经有了一定的知识基础,所学知识也在逐渐加深,扩展。本单元教学内容与学生的实际生活息息相关,因此,对于学生来说不难理解。只要多创设情景游戏等形式帮助学生理解,教学目标酒会轻松达到。 重点:

1.能够听、说、认读5个描述天气的单词:rainy, snowy, cloudy, sunny, windy; 并能够在语境中正确运用这5个单词描述天气状况。

2.能用句型Whats the weather like in ...?Its ...询问和回答天气情况。 难点:

1.几个重要城市的名称和地理位置。 2.所学句子能在情景中运用。

教学过程:

Step 1. Warm up 1. Free talk

T: How are you today? Ss: Im fine.Thank you.

T: Whats the weather like today? Is it warm/cool? S: Yes, it is./ No, it isnt. Its ...带学生进入英学习的状态。 2. Lead in

T: Do you like songs? Lets sing a song about weather. Whats the weather like today?教师播放动画,师生一起吟唱歌曲。 Step 2. Presentation

1.词汇教学 rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy, sunny T: Now, listen, (表现出“听”的动作)whats the weather like?PPT播放下雨的音频同时PPT出现下雨的画面,T: Yes, its rainy. 出示rainy的单词卡片,教授新单词,并在黑板上张贴单词卡片;

呈现下雪的图片T:Whats this? Its snow. Yes, its snowy.教师出示单词卡片snowy教学单词;

播放大风呼啸的音频和大风吹的画面,刺激学生听觉,T: Whats the weather like? Listen. Its windy.教授新单词windy

呈现多云的图片学习单词cloudy; 呈现晴朗的图片, 学习单词rainy.

总结五个单词都以y结尾,教读单词时注意引导学生按音节读单词。 2.单词转盘游戏,听音选单词。 3.呈现Lets learn图片分析图片介绍人物与事情。T: Johns father is going on a business trip. He will go to four cities. Lets see where he will go. 图片介绍约翰爸爸去的四个城市,London,


Moscow, Singapore, Sydney. 学习四个城市名称。 4.学习图片对话,让学生跟读对话。 Step 3 Activities and practice

1.T: Johns parents are listening to the weather report. Lets see whats the weather like in the cities. 引导学生用句型Its ... and ... in ...来依次描叙五个城市的天气。 Its rainy and cool in London. Its snowy and cold in Moscow. Its windy and warm in Beijing. Its cloudy and warm in Singapore. Its sunny and hot in Sydney

学生自由朗读上述五个句子。

2.T: Do you want to be a weather reporter? Now, I will give you a chance. Just try. OK?鼓励学生大胆尝试,让学生跟着幻灯片在天气预报的音乐背景下报道天气,体验天气预报员这一职业。 3.Lets play

图片呈现城市的天气图片,教师拿单词卡片并用句型It's...in...来描叙该城市的天气情况,请学生用句子Yes, it is./ No, it isn't. It's...now.来进行判断。 Step 4 Homework

1.Write the five words for five times.

2.To be a weather reporter, talk about the weather to your parents. Step 5 Layout design
