The Hazards of Online Classes
With the continuous development of science and technology, online courses are gradually welcomed by the public. However, compared with the traditional offline courses, there are some disadvantages, such as the lack of students' learning conditions, the lack of interaction in the classroom, and the difficulty in testing the teaching effect.
First of all, the conditions and environments for students to participate in online courses are not guaranteed. Especially in rural areas, due to the poor network and the low level of family economy, students can not participate in the live broadcast of the course on time, which affects the progress of learning. In addition, some parents work and play at home will also produce noise, interfering with children's learning.
Secondly, the teaching method of network course is single and lack of emotional interaction. From the current situation of network teaching in colleges, many teachers are not fully prepared before class, only the mechanical setting of check-in, reading textbooks and PPT. In addition, due to the limitations of electronic equipment, even if the camera is turned on, teachers and students still can not achieve effective emotional communication, students become passive recipients of classroom content, greatly reducing their autonomy.
Finally, it is difficult to test the learning effect of online courses.
Some teachers do not force students to turn on the camera in class, which provides them with the opportunity to distract. They can browse micro-blog or play games at the same time, ignoring the content of the class. In the exam, students can get high scores by cheating, without being detected by electronic devices. In addition, because students' learning effect can not be truly and accurately fed back to teachers, it will also affect teachers' follow-up teaching activities.
Only when students, teachers, parents and social forces work together, can we overcome these problems and promote the development and progress of online education.
