Teaching Aims:
New words: To learn to read and recognize 4 words: eyes, ears, nose, mouth. Sentence pattern: Try to answer “---What do you have?” using “---I have....” To arouse kids’ interests in learning English.
Teaching Materials:
Flashcards, markers, snow-shaped paper, sticky ball.
Teaching procedures: Warming-up:
Greet the kids with a big smile and say --“Hello everyone” --“Hello Louie”, high five with the kids one by one.
OK, follow Louie to do some actions: touch your head, touch your shoulders, touch your knees, touch your toes.
Then let’s sing a song (Head and Shoulders.) to cheer them up.
Words teaching:
(1)Leading-in and presentation:
(Pretend to be cold.) I feel cold. (why?) Look! It’s snowing.(Throw the snow-shaped paper in the air.) Wow, let’s use the “snow” to make a snowman.
(Draw a snowman on the whiteboard).

Have another kid pick another one of the 5 sense organs, then stick it to the snowman’s face, for example: nose.
After the kid sticks the nose onto the whiteboard, teacher teaches kids the word: nose, read it 3 times and at the same time do the TPR. Then let’s play a game(Do a demo first.): Try to use your nose to touch the flashcard and say the word out.
Have a third kid pick another one of the 5 sense organs, then stick it to the snowman’s face, for example: mouth.
After the kid sticks the mouth onto the whiteboard, teacher teaches kids the word: mouth, read it 3 times and at the same time do the TPR. Then let’s play a game(Do a demo first.): Try to blow the flashcard and say the word out.

(2)Practice:
OK, we put the cards on the board, let’s have a quick review of the 4 words. Then let’s play a game: Sticky ball game: kids try to hit the right part of the face using the sticky ball according to what the teacher says.
(3)Production:
Teacher says the word, kids try to touch the right part of your face and say it out 3 times at the same time do the TPR.
