Course Description:

Thesis (design) and thesis defense is the practice course of students of Chinese painting. Through the dissertation (planning) and the defense process, students can understand the significance and practical value of the thesis (design) and the defense.In writing the

thesis,students have to read broadly and intensively, within a specific period of time, large quantity of materials on specific topics. In the writing process,students can improve their logical thinking and language expressive ability as well as strengthen their awareness of the methodology. Thesis defense enables students to further their understanding of the knowledge and flexibility of thought.

Practice Teaching:

1, To teach the structure and the principles of thesis writing, choosing of topics, thesis defense preparation, procedure

and performance assessment.

2,To write thesis on specific topics. 3, Thesis defense

Course assessment:

Based on the quality of thesis and the performance in thesis defense. Thesis writing accounting for 60 percent of total points; thesis defense, 40 percent. Specified Materials:
