Nowadays,it has become popular that many parents do what children themselves should have done. For example, parents do all the housework and make plans for their kids’ study and work. However, this kind of behaviors is bad for children’s independence. Therefore, more attention should be paid to helping children to be independent.

The following ways can be adopted to develop

independence. To start with, parents should be aware that independence is vital to children’s development. Parents can’t stay with their children for ever/children will some day. Besides, parents should give their children certain freedom and responsibility so that they can control themselves better in the future. In addition, parents can teach their children to ask for what they need and support them reasonably. Last but not least, parents can provide their children with advice and guidance instead of making decisions for them.

In my view, it’s high time parents stopped spoiling children, because it is not beneficial/favourable to the children’s development in the future. Parents must make efforts to develop their children’s independence, though






it is a long process/not easy.

It’s gene rally accepted that getting to know the world outside the campus is of great

importance/significance to university students. First, university students should keep pace with modern society. In addition, they can get more practical skills and rich experiences by exposing themselves to the out side world. Therefore, how to know the world outside is worth more attention.

The following ways can be adopted to learn about society. To start with, mass media like newspapers and the Internet can provide the latest news so that we can broaden our horizon and make better decisions. Additionally，it is an ideal way to know about the society that we take part in social activities organized by universities. Finally, taking a part-time job can help college students contact more with society.

As for me, I get to know the outside world mostly by doing part-time jobs. For one thing, I can share/exchange my views with others. For another, it can relieve my financial stress/I can earn money. In conclusion/All in all, it is necessary for college students to take measures
