2)Because of the time limit of the speech,the topic must be put forward to the point.There are various ways to put forward the topic,but the most vivid and noticeable one is to use examples.For example,you should appeal to everyone to care about children in poor areas.You can start with examples of how poor children need help that you have seen or collected.In addition,using specific statistical data is also an effective way to lead to the topic.For example,if you want to talk about obeying traffic rules,you can start with a series of data about vehicles and accidents.

3)Arguments should be objective rather than subjectively drawing conclusions on the proposed topics.This is the most demanding part of the speech.The key is to explain the truth clearly.Common argumentation methods include

exemplification,causality,contrast,etc.See the relevant chapters of English argumentation.


4)The conclusion should be concise and to the point to impress the audience.

5)The end should be concise,not rambling.In particular,do not be influenced by the Chinese language.Say such nonsense as"insufficient preparation,please forgive me"and"please criticize and correct me".The most common ending is:Thank you very much for your attention.
