Unit 2 Good habits
(第三课时 sound time)
一、课时目标
1.能理解并掌握or在单词中的发音/ɔ:/;
2.运用自然拼读法快速掌握新单词发音,并能有节奏地朗读chant; 3.能阅读并理解绘本“Horton’s horns”,培养学生自主阅读能力; 4.知道任何事情都有两面性,用正确的方式去面对解决,并在生活中养成好习惯。 二、教学重难点
1.运用自然拼读法快速掌握含有or的新单词发音/ɔ:/,并能有节奏地朗读chant; 2.能阅读并理解绘本“Horton’s horns”。 三、教学过程 Step 1:Warm up
1.Play a game:一人看图说话,其余人判断Good habit or bad 教师示范do homework carefully 学生:Good habit!
(save food,do not play phones,clean the classroom,put things in order,listen carefully,wash our face)
2.Sing a song “This is the way.”
(设计意图:复习并拓展一些好习惯和坏习惯,并通过最后一幅图过渡到歌曲,引出本堂课的主人公。) Step 2:Sound time
1.Introduce Horton(出示思维导图)
Favourite food-corns, fruit-apples, hobby-doing sports, animals-horses
2.出示sound time部分图片
T:Look, their legs are short. They’re short horses. How many short horses can you see? S:Four.
T: What are they doing?
S:They are running through the grass. T: Are they running fast? S: Yes, they are.
3.出示chant,2人一组,选择自己喜欢的形成chant
4.教授or发音/ɔ:/,拼读h-or-se,sh-or-t,sp-or-t(指导学生发sp后p的音) 5.Try to say more(说出更多or发/ɔ:/的单词) 学生说,教师补充,学生齐读
6.利用这些or单词进行造句,用得越多越好(教师示范,学生比赛) 7.Try to pick
We know Horton likes apples,let’s pick some for him. Which apple will he like? Guess!(为他摘or发/ɔ:/的苹果)
学生上去摘,摘下的其余同学齐读。
8.留下的4个苹果,分两类发音。归纳or的三种发音规律。
(设计意图:介绍Horton时,提前出示目标单词corn,sports,horse等,降低学生之后学习新词的难度。通过问题一步步引导出sound time语句,朗读并归纳。用日历朗读形式操练单词,并用单词造句加强单词实用性。最后回归主人公路线,利用游戏操练or发音并总结三条规律。) Step 3:New story
1.We know Horton has a good habit——wash his face every day.
What other good habits does he have? Look and guess(出示思维导图)Ps:注意三单的使用
2.T:Now Horton is a good boy, but a month ago he was a dirty boy. What bad habits did he have? (看图说话)
S:He didn’t like cleaning his room. He didn’t like washing his hair either.
3.T:What happened on Horton?Let’s read a story. But first you should listen and complete this passage.(出示,听录音,缺词填空) Rainstorm,pork,corn,corner,horn(齐读)
4.学生快速阅读后回答Why did Horton grow horns?What do you think of Horton's horns, good or bad?
5.学生仔细阅读,填空,写一写,读一读
6.情感教育:A coin has two sides,find a good way to use it.
7. Horton was happy with his corns.A parrot said,“I like your horns,but your hair is smelly,your room is messy and dirty. You should … ” T: Give Horton some advice
9.Think and write:完成总结文本
10.介绍这本绘本,希望学生多读书,读好书。
(设计意图:利用思维导图,再次复习课文中的好习惯词组。通过图片引发学生思考为什么Horton一个月里有这么大的变化。利用多种形式学习文本,听、说、读、写都有,并在学习中提升学生思维品质,引发学生思考事物都有两面性,要积极面对;培养学生养成良好的生活习惯。) Homework:
1.复述绘本,讲给朋友们听。 2.巩固or发音,完成练习。
